TACO TUESDAY

i have decided that on taco tuesdays, i will blog about food.  and also music.  because new music is released on tuesdays.

this will give me some consistency.... because otherwise if i don't have a purpose, like, "TODAY IS TUESDAY I MUST BLOG ABOUT CROISSANTS AND YELLE!!"  then i'll be all "blog??  whatever it's pointless." and i'll go do something productive.

SO.

here we are.

tacos.

my mom is bringing home two chicken tacos for me.  my stomach will be very happy.  i like my tacos with yogurt rather than sour cream, and hot sauce.  i don't get how people can stroll on into a taco/burrito/mexican restaurant/even taco bell, and be like "YES i would like the mild sauce."  mild??????  hot sauce is supposed to be spicy.  mild sauce is barely even a "hot sauce."  and i can't tell if it's a flavor thing or a "wahhh my mouth is too hot thing."

although one time i tried the XXX sauce, and it was so tasty, but i ended up doing the milk chugging routine.  this also happens with spicy asian noodles, which have no regard for tongue nerves.

I CAN'T EVEN BELIEVE THIS HAPPENED.  i was literally just listening to ou est le swimming pool last night.  "dance the way i feel" and some other songs.  a friend linked me to them maybe about three weeks ago?  yeah so now i'm all like "this band ROCKS!!!"

today i googled them.... and this article popped up.

so that kind of ruins my hopes and dreams for a new band to add to my list of favorite bands.

RANDOMS:

-  deadmau5 really needs to hurry up and release sofi needs a ladder.

-  i've been listening to the new katy perry cd nonstop.... it's just so happy.  reminds me of high school.  good times.

-  i watched 500 days of summer yesterday and need to look up that song that they play during the end credits.  the first song.

-  "islands" by the xx has been stuck in my head all day

-  a friend just introduced me to some band called telefon tel aviv..... interesting stuff.  must investigate further.

i have to go run around the house and whine until my tacos get here.
